Marathon Mission Team in Reading Half

Maria McCambridge ran a time of 74 mins 15 secs to finish third in the Reading Half Marathon, weather condition were challenging as the runners were battling bitterly cold conditions and driving rain all the way. Ailish Malone ran a personal best 79 mins 26 secs. First woman home was Emily Biwott from Kenya in 72 mins 14 secs. In the mens race, Paul Pollock finished fifth in 66 mins 9 secs, Joe McAllister, ninth in 66 mins 58 secs, Brian Maher 23rd in 69 mins 19 secs and Paul Stephenson 32nd in 70 mins 3 secs. Leading home the 18,000 entry was Andrew Lesuda of Kenya in 64 mins 15 secs.
Gladys Ganiel ONeill ran 35.20 in the 10K in Downpatrick.
