Fancy Dress in the adidas Dublin Half Marathon

We hope to make this a fun day for everyone.
There will be entertainers in the Phoenix Park at the start/finish area, face painter, balloon artist etc.

There will be prizes for best fancy dress in both male and female categories with a special one for a Ryder Cup theme.

Refreshments will be provided at race headquarters in Castleknock College followed by main prize giving at 1.00pm.

After prize giving all those present will be included in a raffle for cash prizes.

The designated charity for the adidas Dublin Half Marathon is the new St Francis Hospice @Abbotstown.
Work on the new hospice is expected to commence in early 2007 on a site at Abbotstown adjacent to the existing Connolly Hospital, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15.
The new hospice will compromise the three essential hospice services:
-home care,
- Hospice day care centre and
- 25 bed in-patient unit.

The capital cost of the project is being raised by a voluntary local committee through an extensive fund raising campaign. In the past year this tireless committee has raised almost €1.5 million.

We urge as many runners as possible to support this most worthy cause.
